SKU: 7KGH3F

Details: Large ceramic charger depicting symbolic imagery from the Restoration Period Era in England with the year "1660" painted at the bottom center of the piece, which stands out as perhaps second only to the year 1066, in its impact on the people of England. This was the year of King Charles II’s Restoration when the people saw sudden, profound and permanent changes at every level of society, from the ruling classes down to the level of the most humble servant. The center depiction, features  a man dispensing spirits, who appears to be caught doing so and is surrounded by swords by law enforcement figures upholding the alcohol prohibition ban. Three English Coat of Arms frame the vignette. The plate is glazed in a brown and ivory finish with a decorative border and ready to hang with hardware affixed to the back. No manufacturer or markings of any kind on the piece. Originally purchased in 2008 for $1075. A wonderful conversation piece for a bar area!

Dimensions: 25"diameter x 2"deep (16 lbs)

Condition: In excellent condition- no chip or cracks anywhere on the front or edges of the piece. There is one small chip on the back. (see detailed photos).
