Details: Pair of grand scale, custom made, solid wooden urn lamps on pedestal bases featuring hand painted and relief carved figures depicting different scenes on each side against a black lacquered background. The stem at the top and the foot of the bases have a gold gilt scroll filigree motif painted on an oxblood red background that matches the design repeated on the hand painted, parchment colored shades, which are illuminated when lit. The 22" diameter x 14"h shades have brown satin ribbon, black and gold gilt trim on the top and bottom and each lamp has a large wooden ball finial. One of the lamps is signed "Hugo S." on the edge of the base. Each lamp has a line switch on a 67" brown cord and takes one, two-way, 660 watt/250 volt bulb (not included). These grandiose table lamps are sure to make a statement in any room and each one is a gorgeous work of art. Originally purchased for $5750 in 2007.
Dimensions: 22"w x 22"d x 42"h (27 lbs each)
