Details: 18th century Louis XIII walnut plank top side table with a drawer featuring a scrolled pewter backplate and round metal pull that appears to be brass. The cabriole legs ending in pied de biche (deer feet) are conjoined by beautifully, smoothly carved serpentine "X" stretcher. Peg construction. The interior of the drawer is lined with a treated sheet of burlap. The greatest attribute of this piece is that the size makes it great for use as a large side table or can also be used as a small writing table.
Dimensions: 30.5"w x 21.75"d x 27"h (36 lbs)
Condition: This piece has been recently refurbished. There is evidence of prior beetle inhabitation, which has left some holes on the top surface that give the piece character and charm.
