Details: 18th century Spanish Colonial writing desk featuring intricate, yet primitive carved scroll motif on the four slightly splayed legs, the stretcher and the scalloped apron. The apron is set 5.75" in on each end, 7.25" on one side and 8" on the other side of the solid wood table top. The top is secured to the base with pegs. The type of wood is unknown, however, has a slightly reddish hue. Made in Peru. This piece also makes a great entry or hall table.

Condition: In beautiful condition, however, there are some minor chips on the feet, yet the piece is very sturdy. One place on the top surface has been repaired (see photos).
