Details: Late 19th century Italian rococo walnut chairs featuring an intricately carved pair of cherubs at the crest of each with open work acanthus leaves scrolling around the frame and carved cabriole legs ending in raised scrolled feet. Upholstered in a soft, raspberry velvet (looks darker in the photos) on the back and seat with tufted front splats and antique brass nailhead trim. Purchased from an antique dealer in France 30 years ago. Very comfortable and make the person enjoying their comfort, feel like royalty! Can be sold as a set or separately- price is for each chair.

Condition: Some wear in certain places on the frames. Nailhead trim has a rusted patina. One chair has a back that is loose and needs to be resecured. One chair has a seat where the upholstery has puckered a tad on the side (see photos). In overall excellent condition consistent with their age.
