Details: Early 19th century English inlaid mahogany breakfront pedestal sideboard featuring a d-shaped top, curvilinear corners flanking an inset full width drawer above a rounded double pedestal base with cabinet doors (left side cabinet has pull out drawer. Right cabinet has fixed shelf with pull out drawer). Brass ring drawer pull hardware with lion head.The full length apron and drawer is inlaid with ovoidal and rectangular motif design with rosewood crossbanding. Appraised by Adams & Associates Appraisers for $16,000 in 1989. A wonderful piece for use as a high desk or as a buffet!
