Details: 19th century English wooden chamber pot commode featuring a leather top lid and pull out step raised on four turned ball feet with a center support. The hinged lid covers the 10" diameter compartment where a chamber pot would be placed. This is a wonderful conversation piece that can be used as a step stool, a sitting stool or a small low side table and looks lovely left open to showcase a porcelain bowl or for use as a planter!
Dimensions: 18.5"w x 20"d x 16.5"h (27" with lower shelf fully extended)- 20 lbs
Condition: The leather has been replaced recently to mimic the original. There is a chip on the back right edge and a superficial crack in the wood around the chamber pot opening (see detailed photos).
