Details: Late 18th century French dark finished wood oval top, three planked table featuring a drawer with wooden knob. The faceted or adzed legs and stretcher in addition to the feet are primitive. Peg and groove construction. This is a wonderfully versatile piece that because of the height, can also be used as a small writing table, an entry table or a side table. The height to the apron is 23"high and the opening is 21"wide if used as a desk. It has wonderful character!

Condition: The top has one subtle watermark. The back of the stretcher, back of the left leg and a bit of the drawer's surface has tiny holes showing evidence of beetles at some point during the piece's long lifetime. In overall excellent condition!
