Details: Antique French tilt-top wine tasting table featuring a 1/2" planked top, banded edge and trestle style base. Also known as a vendage or vigeron table, these tables were once used in the vineyards of France for tasting wine or enjoying a meal al fresco. Hence, the tilt-top design which allowed for the table to be folded for transport and easy storage. A wonderful piece to add a bit of rustic, farmhouse charm to a space!

Condition: Consistent with age, given that many of these lived out of doors. The wood has a beautiful aged patina with some blemishes and evidence of prior beetles, however, the piece has been fumigated. There are some pieces missing on the banded edge and the feet have been repaired on the ends, yet are structurally sound (see detailed photos).
