Antique Hand Painted Columbia P3 Adam Grafonola-Circa 1917

$ 1,750.00 $ 1,575.00

Details: Early 20th century limited edition period Columbia P3 Adam Grafonola featuring a hand painted floral and ribbon motif throughout on a black background with gold trimmed edges. The piece is raised on five turned legs connected by a carved, open diamond motif stretcher. The rounded cabinet doors have antique copper ring pulls, which open to reveal six serpentine shaped shelves on each side. Both the doors and the removable gold painted lattice screen in the center secure shut with magnetic latches. The center of the painted top is painted with a simple flower and when propped open, reveals a green velvet lined turntable with a brass arm. A beautiful, Victorian conversation piece!

Dimensions: 50"w x 21.75"d x 36.25"h

Condition: This piece was originally fitted with Columbia's best electric motor, however, does need rewiring in order to function. The back of the piece is open and there is a chip on it, as well as on the lower left center on the front and the finish is marred in a few places on the top (see detailed photos). The hinge to prop the lid open is functional, however, could use a bit of repair if desired.
