Details: 19th century hand woven wool Flemish tapestry depicting a verdant, spring time forest scene with a babbling brook in the background. Featuring a muted color palette of rust, tan, gold, taupe, grey, lilac, olive and sage green with some darker accents in brown, charcoal and salmon. The vignette of the woods is framed by a two tone marigold and mocha border with alternating red flowers. The 96.5" long, dark bronze finished iron bar with fleur de lis finials and brackets is included. Purchased in 2008 for $9,450.00.
