Details: Beautifully crafted British Colonial style rosewood dresser featuring eight drawers of varying sizes, framed in a dark ebony trim with light wood inset knobs and a decorative inlaid shell keyhole on the top center drawer. The piece, which is finished on all sides, including the paneled back with peg construction, is raised on tapered peg feet. The drawers have been built so that the knob screws are concealed in the panel of each drawer front. Originally purchased from an antique store in Chicago in 2005.
Dimensions: 43.5"w x 21.5"d x 45.5"h
Condition: In beautiful condition, however, the right side of the top has a cluster of superficial scratches that are only noticeable in certain light (see detailed photos). The color of the wood, being a bit difficult to photograph is reddish, yet has dark brown undertones, making it versatile and complimentary to other shades of wooden furniture. The piece is heavy and substantial!
