Details: Gorgeous early 20th century mahogany rolled top desk featuring burled paneling on the cover, drawers and cabinet, a newly refurbished pull out writing shelf done in black vinyl (for easy cleaning) and brass circular drawers pulls with 2 keys included (needed to open lower drawers). A removable carved apron surmounts the piece and the flat surface of the top makes it wonderful for displaying extra books, photos, etc. The roll top has two black knobs adorned with brass floral medallions. Beautifully crafted with mortise and tenon construction and designed for functionality and organization. The top portion of the desk has 3 slats on each side for sorting, surmounting a small drawer, which flank a large center compartment (also newly lined). The lower portion of the desk has two large, but shallow drawers under the pull out writing surface, 3 drawers of varying sizes on the left hand side and a cabinet with vertical wooden dividers on the right hand side. Metal wheels on the back of the piece make this easy to move if needed. Manufacturer unknown. A wonderful piece for nautical decor or man's study!

Condition: In beautiful condition. Burl is not drying. One pull ring missing on right hand upper drawer. One spot of paint on the side. Drawer interiors have ink stains.(see photos).
