Details: Early 20th century extendable oak dining table featuring legs carved with acanthus leaves ending in lion's paw caster feet that are conjoined by a stretcher on either side of the table. The table has a soft, bevelled apron (24" from the floor) with rounded corners and a center post with a caster in the center. Included are three 14" leaves and custom vinyl pads for protection. Originally purchased from Toby Furniture in Chicago for $3500 in 1990.
Dimensions: 60"l x 52"w x 29"h (extends to 102" long with three 14" leaves)
Condition: The table is in great condition, however, there is some wear consistent with age and some mild water spots on the leaves, which are darker than the rest of the table from not being used often (see detailed photos). Note: The blemish on the left side of the table top is a reflective glare, not a mar on the surface.
