Details: Beautifully crafted canopy bed featuring an intentionally distressed, hand painted, antique cream finish by The Farmhouse Collection-Hailey, Idaho. The bed has a carved camelback headboard, primitive carved corners on the top and bottom and is surmounted by four carved round finials at the top of each post. Four slats are included to support a mattress and raise it 14" from the floor (fits a 62"w x 82"l mattress). Manufacturer's brass plate can be found on the back and the piece is numbered. Unfortunately, this company no longer makes furniture, however, they were known for their excellent craftsmanship and beautiful hand rubbed finishes. We have a large side table that is a slightly darker shade to go with the bed as a set is desired.
Overall Dimensions: 65"w x 86"d x 84"h (7ft)
Condition: The finish of the bed is not white and is not yellow, however, it picks up colors surrounding it from rugs or painted walls (see photos of bed photographed in different light-the footboard appears a bit pink due to a red rug that was underneath it). The distressing, as well as the wood used that shows evidence of prior beetles, is intentional (see detailed photos). The headboard and canopy are one piece, the footboard and canopy are one piece and there are two side rails that conjoin the two. Easy to assemble! There are brackets (no rods) in the interior of the canopy to install curtains around the perimeter of the bed of desired.
