Large Antique Carved Wooden Tang Dynasty Horse

Details: Large Mid 19th Century intricately carved wooden horse statue in a prancing pose from the Tang Dynasty. A superb piece of Chinese folk art, featuring a hand painted burnished gold overlay with antique red and green accents on the ceremonial saddle and bridle. The horse is mounted on a rectangular platform measuring 14.25"w x 8.75"d.

Dimensions: 33"w x 8.75"d x 35"h (22 lbs)

Condition: A scrolled rectangular wooden bonsai stand measuring 21" x 12" x 3.5"h is included if desired (see photo), however, has scratches. The Horse itself is in excellent condition, yet has evidence of a few repairs on the lower neck and top front leg when facing to the right. though he has a few repairs as you might expect.
