Details: "Le Reine Morte" or "The Dead Queen" bronze sculpture on a rectangular granite base by French sculptor Gérard Bélanger 1936-2019. This piece evokes a sense of femininity, tribal ritual and emotion through its full bodied figures with their disproportionate small heads having only mouths and teeth - The absence of their noses, ears and eyes cannot be accidental, which makes this famous sculpture a wonderful conversation piece. This piece is believed to be III/VIII and does not appear to be signed or dated.
Dimensions: 17"l x 14"w x 20"h (58 lbs)
