Details: Gorgeous Early 20th Century French Louis XV bergere chair featuring a barrel back, exposed wood back and chaise longue ottoman upholstered in neutral beige linen. The carved floral frames are beechwood painted in a distressed gray and antique white with a subtle green hue on the bottom. The seat cushion is a comfortable, plump loose down seat wrapped in dacron. The loose ottoman cushion is firm and both have zippers for easy removal and cleaning. Made in France by Maison Gouffé, which specialized in eighteenth century furniture with finely painted two tone color schemes.
