Details: Designed by Massimo Scolari in the 1990's for Giorgetti, The Zeno solid beechwood partners desk features a 79" long polished macassar ebony veneer work surface with two functional, yet stylish, adjustable height, swivel chairs upholstered in a brown leather. The legs of the desk are cantilevered and point in opposite directions with anodized aluminum detail on the feet and house a small drawer surmounting a larger drawer equipped with file hangers on each side and scored silver finished hardware. The backs of the chairs have a decorative, ebony circular inlay design on the interiors and pivot forward and backward for comfort. The sloped arms make these chairs roomy with good back support and the flexible nature of the chair's design is ideal for long hours. The chairs are raised on 5 legs with anodized aluminum detail and roll smoothly on the covered casters. Our favorite aspect of this desk is the subtle rubber bumper along the bottom edge of each side of the desk to prevent scuffing the chairs. The Zeno desk is a fantastic example of modern Italian design and created to endure the test of time.
