Details: Beautiful oil on masonite rendering of Point Reyes, which is one of many spectacular destination spots on Northern California's coastline. Signed and dated on the back by artist, Jeff Aeling (2002). The artist, born in 1958, is known for his universal landscapes which possess a stunning intimacy that convey unexpected power and emotion, creating a sense of awe and wonder about the universe. Aeling's skill as an artist comes from his ability to absorb the geography and make it come alive with a palette of rich, earth tones like terra verde, ochre and reed. In this particular piece, the contrast of the hues between the land and the sea are dramatic, yet serene. Framed in a beveled, black wood frame with slight touches of burnished red accents. Certificate of Authenticity from Medicine Man Gallery (Tucson/Santa Fe) and Artist's bio included- Valued at $7,600.
