Details: Set of four Italian giltwood brackets featuring intricately carved tassels adorned with flowers on the apron of each angular shelf that surmounts an open work, scrolled base embellished with acanthus leaves. Finished in a burnished gold with red undertones. Each bracket has serial numbers carved on the back and stainless mounts that make them ready to hang. These brackets look wonderful mounted as a staggered grouping, flanking artwork or china cabinets or hung individually to showcase candles, small floral arrangements and other small decorative objects. Purchased in 2007 for $2000.

Condition: In excellent condition with no chips or wear on the finish. One pair is slightly more muted gold than the other and it appears that they were carved from wood with a previous inhabitation of beetles, hence the small wormholes. There is adhesive tape on the back that was used to mount them more securely to the wall in their previous home.
