Details: Mid nineteenth century English burlwood veneer chest with glass covered overhanging top and molded rim on a bracket form base with scalloped detail. This charming piece has two half width drawers over three full length drawers, all with batwing brass finished copper hardware handles (tassel included). Bottom drawer has a keyhole. Back is unfinished. Appraised by Adams & Associates in 1989 for $3,800. This makes a wonderful nightstand, small entry table or end table due to the piece's versatile size and ample drawers for storage!

Condition: All drawers slide smoothly. No chips or cracks on glass. Patina on hardware. Some chips in burl veneer and slight drying. Some pieces of marquetry missing on top back. Some discoloration on top. Back split and shows signs of drying (see photos).
