Details: The Naga tribe are an agriculturally based community from North East India. Made from a solid tree trunk, hewn on the exterior, hollowed out with thick walls and carved with a simple, geometric design that bands around the top of the cylinder. This beautiful vintage rice grinder is used to hull grains during the harvest seasons, however, makes a wonderful planter, walking stick, cane or umbrella holder with its 5.25" diameter opening. Circa 1950.

Condition: In excellent condition! There is one spot where the finish may have worn off or was filled in at some point, however, it is difficult to tell if this was intentional or from wear (see photos).
