Lucien Rollin Merisier Dining Set with 8 Boulevard Chairs by William Switzer
Details: Elegant and exquisitely crafted square "Merisier" dining table with eight Boulevard chairs from The Lucien Rollin collection by William Switzer. The table features a macassar ebony veneer over maple, creating a stunning brown and black striped contrasting finish along the edges of the table and a sunburst design on the top's surface. The four legs are connected by an "X" shaped base with double braces ending in flat, curved feet with nickel sabots. The eight Boulevard dining chairs with bowed arms are made from solid Cotibe mahogany with an ebony stain and French polish and have 8-way hand tied, tight seat and oval back. Beautifully upholstered in a slightly shimmery, off-white fabric with a woven horizontal linear design and twisted welt trim detail. The front legs are slightly splayed and have nickel sabots on the feet, while the back legs arch inward slightly, creating elegant lines. Not only aesthetically pleasing, the chairs are roomy, yet firm with great back support to provide comfort to your dinner guests while enjoying this unique dining set. The set retails new for $46,830 (Chairs for $3420 each new). Made in Spain.
