Details: Premium archival print of a finely detailed Chinese lidded vase in blue and yellow and mounted on a black stand with gold accents. This is Plate I from the collection of "Imprimerie Firmin Didot Frere et Fils et Cie. Paris" (lower left), which was distributed by Bauer Hth (lower right). The lower center has a small inconspicuous Griffon trademark. The lithograph on rag paper is housed in a thick, elegant, burnished gold frame adorned with an acanthus leaf motif and scroll detail and matted in an off-white, dupioni silk with matching wood trim interior (covered in plexiglass). The scale of this chinoiserie style print is ideal for a maximalist, traditional interior!
Dimensions: 35"w x 4.5"d x 40.75"h Artwork=18.25"w x 25.5"h (22 lbs)
Condition: The frame is in beautiful condition, without chips or scratches. The matting is also in excellent condition, however, the "pilling" of the fabric in places is part of the nature of dupioni silk. The artwork is also in great condition-there is slight ripple in the paper, yet this does not detract from the aesthetic beauty of the artwork(see detailed photos).
