Pair of Antique Italian Bronze Blackamoor Candlesticks

Details: Pair of early 20th century Italian Blackamoor ebonized gilt bronze/spelter  candlesticks. Each figurine surmounts a 4.75" diameter base and are depicted in a welcoming stance with one hand open, while the other holds a long golden torchiere candle holder. The regal looking pair are each wearing short, ornate robes with elaborate headpieces, typical of the 17th century style Venetian dress.

Dimensions: 8"w x 5.5"d x 15.75"h (8.5 lbs each)

Condition: In excellent condition, although one of the figurines appears to have chipped fingers (see detailed photos).
